For PDPH patients who usually do not respond to conservative healthcare treatment, option therapies such as bilateral occipital nerve block need to be viewed as.In this study the efficacy of bilateral occipital nerve block was retrospectively evaluated in patients with post-dural puncture headache. Solutions: Ultrasound-guided bilateral occipital nerve block was administrated in 21 sufferers who created PDPH right after spinal anesthesia, but didn’t respond to conservative healthcare therapy inside 48 hours among January 2012 and February 2014. The study was carried out at Erzincan University Faculty of Medicine Gazi Mengucek Education and Analysis Hospital Final results: Mean Visual Analog Scale (VAS) discomfort scores at ten minutes and six, 10, 15 and 24 hours after the block had been drastically improved in comparison with the individuals having a pre-block VAS score amongst four and 6 also as individuals using a pre-block VAS score amongst 7 and 9 (p0.01). Whereas, VAS score decreased to two at 24 hours after the block in only among the patients with a pre-block VAS involving 7 and 9. Conclusions: For patients with PDPH and a pre-block VAS score among four and six who don’t respond to conservative medical treatment, an ultrasound-guided bilateral occipital nerve block could be effective.
